Nintendo Virtual Boy

1995-1996

The world’s first 3D gaming console was expected to be an immediate success. Customers were however disappointed that it couldn't be worn on the head and unimpressed with the 3D graphics. Many users also complained that the screen gave them headaches. Warning labels stated that the 3D screen could harm younger children’s eyes.
