Modo was a single-use handheld device that displayed information about a city's dining and entertainment options, as well as special offers and coupons. It was a beautiful and very cool product that targeted young and active consumers. The device updated wirelessly every night without a subscription fee because advertising revenue was supposed to pay for the service. This proved completely unsustainable. Modo was on the market for only two months.
